an old statue found at a thrift store, some christmas lights, a picture of my friend josh as a fetus : ). Acrylic paint, wire, a feather butterfly, and an old arm band.
The bible is not part of the piece. thats just how my mom chose to display it.
The hands sorta looked like a vagina…what can I say?!
You can’t see behind them, but the red and blue lines are veins coming from a heart in the center of her chest, behing the hands.
I’d rreally like some feed back on this one. coz i think its a little jumbled and it comes across very folk-art ish. which is cool, but not the intent i had in mind. maybe i should stop making plans for this sorta stuff, then i wont be dissapointed when i’m done.
